Ravi Thakur is COO and Partner, GP Development at Bisonti Partners, based in New York. He is a member of the Investment Committee, supports the sourcing of new investment opportunities, and focuses on developing and delivering value-creation capabilities for Bisonti’s GP partners.
Prior to Bisonti, Ravi was a Principal at B-Flexion, the strategic investment arm of Ernesto Bertarelli, where he led U.S. GP activities for more than a decade and provided board-level guidance to a multi-billion-dollar GP portfolio. Earlier, he was a Principal at Amundi Asset Management US and spent eight years in a senior role at BNY Mellon Asset Management, where he supported the firm’s multi-boutique portfolio of asset managers with product and capital-raising assistance globally. He began his career in Capital Markets at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
Ravi holds an M.A. from Université Toulouse Capitole and a B.A. from the University of Houston, and is fluent in French.
